Job summary

Gloucester Township School District is seeking a PM Custodian for Ann Mullen Middle School. The role supports safe, clean, and secure facilities and requires ability to respond to emergencies after hours. Position involves cleaning, equipment operation, and coordination with the Facilities Supervisor.

Starting date to be determined. Compensation follows the GTSPA contract, with annual range in the low to mid 40s thousands and benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of criminal history background check.
• Proof of US citizenship.
• Specific knowledge of housekeeping and custodial equipment, materials and methods.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be physically able to efficiently perform the duties of the position.
• Ability to hear conversational voice, with or without hearing aid.
• Good vision, with or without glasses.
• Able to follow written or oral directions.
• Able and willing to respond to emergency and alarm calls after normal working hours.

Responsibilities

• Wears clean and appropriate uniform.
• Sweeps, mops, waxes, dusts and vacuums.
• Washes windows, walls, lockers, floors, chalkboard, furnishings.
• Performs outside services including snow removal, flower beds, lawn work, debris removal from grounds.
• Rearranges/moves furnishings and delivers educational supplies.
