Job summary

Marshall Public Schools is seeking a Custodian for the 2nd shift at BMS (12:00 to 8:00 pm) and MIS (2:00 pm to 10:30 pm) to keep campuses clean, sanitary, and orderly.

The role involves operating cleaning equipment, following safety procedures, moving furniture, and supporting events. Minimal education is required; one year of custodial experience is preferred. CPR/Defibrillator training is required by the district.

Qualifications

• Minimal education is required and ability to follow instructions.
• One year custodial experience preferred.
• Willing to perform varied custodial duties with basic judgment.

Responsibilities

• Clean walls, floors, restrooms, offices, labs and classrooms.
• Operate custodial equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Move furniture, set up rooms for meetings and assist with snow removal.
• Follow safety policies and MSDS guidelines as required.
