Responsibilities

• Possess working knowledge of methods, materials and equipment to keep public school buildings and grounds clean and safe.
• Maintain operation of low pressure boilers, ventilation systems, cleaning equipment, fixtures and furniture.
• Maintain fire prevention and protection, correct hazards, proper storage of inflammable materials, and safety precautions.
• Protect school property from damage, theft and trespass.
• Plan and maintain supplies to meet expectations of principal and staff.
• Enforce building rules and regulations for a clean, safe building.
• Properly display and store the flag of the United States.
• Operate power cleaners, polishers, sanders, etc. safely.

• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
