Job summary

The Town of Wellesley seeks a Custodian for the High School, 2nd shift (Tuesday–Saturday, 2:30pm–11:00pm; Saturdays 7:30am–4:00pm). The role supports maintenance, cleaning, and basic grounds tasks across town buildings and requires lifting up to 50 lbs.

The pay ranges from $22.75 to $28.36 per hour, with flexible hours during school vacations. Applicants need a High School diploma or GED, a valid MA Driver's license, and at least three years of custodial experience, plus basic computer skills

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Wellesley High School custodial responsibilities include cleaning, minor maintenance and grounds work.

Responsibilities

• Routine cleaning of school facilities and related spaces.
• Minor maintenance and grounds work as needed.
• On-call, weekend, emergency and stand-by duties.
• Protect building security and assist with food services/cafeteria support.
