Job summary

Community Resource Network of Florida is seeking a caregiver to support a 20-year-old male with ADLs, personal hygiene, and general supervision. This independent contractor role pays $16.00 hourly and requires a valid driver’s license, background screening, and at least 1 year of caregiving experience or relevant training.

Schedule: 12 hours per week, three 4-hour shifts after 3:00 PM, with one shift on Saturday.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening.
• 18 years of age or older.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.

Responsibilities

• Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities
• Assisting with personal hygiene tasks
• Meal preparation and light cleaning
• Ensuring individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environment
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events, community outings, such as grocery shopping and appointments
• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization
• Complete daily progress notes
