Job summary

Community Resource Network of Florida is seeking a caregiver to support a 20-year-old male with I/DD in activities of daily living and supervision. This independent contractor role pays $16.00 per hour and requires a calm, boundary‑setting approach.

Schedule is 12 hours per week across three 4‑hour shifts, starting after 3:00 PM, with one shift on Saturdays. Applicants should be compassionate, patient, and reliable to help the individual live independently.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening.
• Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Candidates must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Encourage and support the individual during home activities.
• Assist with personal hygiene tasks.
• Meal preparation and light cleaning.
• Ensure safety and a safe living environment.
• Accompany to social events and community outings; promote independence and socialization.
• Complete daily progress notes.
