Job summary

Community Resource Network of Florida is seeking a compassionate caregiver to support a 22-year-old male with I/DD in Sarasota. This independent contractor role pays $18.00 hourly and includes duties such as assisting with ADLs, companionship, meal prep, and community outings.

Schedule: Thursdays and Fridays 10am-5:30pm, Saturdays flexible. Applicants should be energetic, patient, and able to maintain a safe living environment while documenting daily progress notes and complying with background

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Must pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening.
• Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
• Have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Are 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities.
• Assisting with personal hygiene tasks.
• Meal preparation and light cleaning.
• Ensuring individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environment.
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events, community outings, such as grocery shopping and appointments.
• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization.
• Complete daily progress notes.
