Job summary

Community Resource Network of Florida, LLC in DeLand, FL is seeking a caring, fun, and dependable caregiver to supervise and assist an adult male with daily activities and companionship. This independent contractor role pays $16.00 hourly and requires a valid driver’s license, background screening, and a minimum of 1 year caregiving experience or technical training.

Scheduling begins Tues–Thurs 4:30pm–6:30pm, with potential expansion to Mon–Fri.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities
• Assisting with personal hygiene tasks
• Meal preparation and light cleaning
• Ensuring the individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environment
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying the individual to social events and outings
• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization
• Complete daily progress notes
