Tru Vue Inc. is seeking a Sandblaster to perform abrasive blasting and surface preparation on metal and other materials. The role requires safe operation of blasting equipment, quality inspection, and adherence to production schedules and safety standards.

Responsibilities include preparing surfaces, inspecting workpieces, selecting blasting media, and performing routine equipment maintenance. The position offers an evening shift in a manufacturing environment with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in sandblasting, manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial painting preferred.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures.
• Ability to use measuring and inspection tools.
• Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus.
• Attention to detail and strong safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate sandblasting and abrasive blasting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Prepare surfaces by removing rust, paint, mill scale, and other contaminants.
• Inspect workpieces and verify surface preparation requirements are met.
• Select appropriate blasting media, equipment settings, and protective gear.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
• Follow work instructions, quality standards, and production schedules.
• Comply with environmental, health, and safety requirements.
• Assist in troubleshooting and repair of production equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area using 6S principles.
• Document progress in CMMS and communicate status to partners.
• Other duties as assigned.
