Job summary

Veterans Health Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs, seeks a Registered Nurse for our Community Living Center in a 24/7 hospital setting. The RN will deliver continuous patient care, assess needs, and collaborate with the healthcare team to meet residents’ needs.

Candidates must be a graduate of an approved nursing program and hold an active US nursing license; English proficiency is required. EDRP assistance is available with application details via the coordinator.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in English (written and spoken).
• Graduate of an approved nursing program (ACEN/CCNE).
• Possession of a current, full, active US nursing license in a US state or territory.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous patient care as a Registered Nurse in a 24/7 hospital setting.
• Assess patient needs and develop care plans according to MDS and physician orders.
• Delegate tasks to CNAs, LPNs, and other team members as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate documentation in medical records and ensure timely charting.
