Job summary

Veterans Health Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs, Leeds, MA seeks a Registered Nurse (Community Living Center) in Nursing Services. The role delivers safe patient care, uses CPRS/Essentris/BCMA, and collaborates with the care team to implement orders and care plans.

The position is full-time at 40 hours per week, with shifts from 3:30 p.m. to midnight, rotating weekends/holidays. EDRP participation may support student loan repayment and related benefits.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency is required.
• Graduation from a school of professional nursing approved by accrediting bodies (ACEN/CCNE).
• Active nursing license in the United States and eligibility for state licensure at time of appointment.
• Foreign education evaluation may be required for certain candidates.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe nursing care to assigned patients.
• Safely use patient care equipment and medication administration systems.
• Document the nursing process and follow physician orders.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate to licensed and non-licensed staff.
• Work schedule includes 3:30 p.m. – midnight with rotating weekends and holidays.
