Job summary

Journey is hiring a Unit Manager to lead nursing services on a designated unit. The role emphasizes quality care, regulatory compliance, and a supportive work environment for residents and staff.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 3 pm–11 pm, with a focus on staffing, resident assessments, and coordination with the Director of Nursing. RN licensure and management experience are required; CPR and state licensing must be current.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• CPR certification is current.
• Minimum 2 years of direct RN care in long-term/geriatric settings.
• At least 1 year of nursing management experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct nursing services while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Make staffing assignments and support professional development.
• Oversee resident assessments, ensure supplies, and address grievances with timely reporting.
