Job summary

Trinity Health's Gottlieb Memorial Hospital in Melrose Park, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Transitional Care Unit. This 32-bed unit cares for Stroke, Neurological, Transplant, Orthopedic and Cardiac patients aged 18 and older.

Average patient stay is 2–3 weeks, allowing meaningful connections on the road to recovery. We offer day-one benefits, DailyPay, tuition reimbursement, on-site fitness, self-scheduling, and a Nurse Residency program to support growth and practice.

Qualifications

• BSN Diploma from an accredited program is required.
• BLS certification required prior to hire.
• Illinois Board of Nursing license is required prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on the Transitional Care Unit for adults 18+.
• Care for Stroke, Neurological, Transplant, Orthopedic, and Cardiac patients.
• Collaborate with a team to manage a 2–3 week average length of stay.
• Support patient recovery and build meaningful patient relationships.

Compensation:

$36.05 - $59.92 per hour

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
