Job summary

Riverside Lifelong Health and Rehabilitation Smithfield is seeking a part-time Evening Shift Registered Nurse Supervisor to oversee nursing services in Smithfield, VA. The role runs 3:00pm–11:30pm with one weekday and every other weekend required.

Responsibilities include assigning duties, supervising staff, managing labor within budget, onboarding, and coordinating care plans with providers and families. Requires RN license in VA; BSN preferred; CPR/BLS within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred)
• Charge Nurse (Preferred)
• RN license required in Virginia (VDHP)
• CPR/BLS Certification within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Assigns duties to professional and non-professional staff according to education, training, policy and resident need.
• Engages team members for optimal performance and addresses performance as needed to assure quality resident care.
• Works with DON/Nurse Manager to keep labor expenses within budget.
• Onboards, orients and supervises nursing staff to ensure safe work practices.
• Develops, implements and evaluates resident plans of care and communicates with providers, residents and families.
