West Delray Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced RN to serve as Evening Supervisor and lead the nursing team in the Delray Beach facility. This role oversees evening operations, supports staff, and ensures compliance with regulations and high-quality resident care.

The ideal candidate has an active Florida RN license, 2+ years in long-term care and at least 1 year in supervision, with CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Florida RN license.
• Minimum of two years direct care experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing.
• At least one year of supervisory or nursing management experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong leadership, communication, critical thinking and organizational skills.
• Commitment to compassionate, resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the evening nursing team to ensure exceptional resident care.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and federal guidelines.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing to optimize daily clinical operations.
• Monitor staffing levels and adjust to maintain safe resident care.
• Conduct rounds to assess resident needs and support nursing staff.
• Address staff concerns or issues appropriately.
• Assist with admissions and ensure smooth transitions for new residents.
• Accompany physicians during rounds and assist with assessments and care planning.
• Oversee medication administration and ensure orders are followed.
• Provide direct nursing care when needed.
• Participate in coaching, performance evaluations and staff development.
• Support survey readiness and assist during inspections.
