Job summary

Pennswood Village in Newtown, PA is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse for the Evening Shift in our Skilled Nursing team. You will provide compassionate nursing care within an interdisciplinary framework and help maintain our resident-centered standards.

Qualifications

• Current PA Registered Nurse license.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
• Commitment to providing exceptional resident-centered care.
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized resident care plans.
• Coordinate and manage nursing care assignments.
• Supervise and support LPNs, nursing assistants, and other nursing staff.
• Provide clinical leadership during assigned shifts and serve as the nurse in charge when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Promote resident safety, dignity, and quality of life.
• Assist with staff orientation, education, and ongoing development.
• Participate in emergency response procedures, including fire and medical alert systems.
• Perform clinical and laboratory procedures within the scope of practice.
• Ensure compliance with Pennsylvania nursing standards and Pennswood Village policies.
