Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Iowa in good standing and ability to activate.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations and laws.
• Strong empathy, respect, patience, and discretion in caregiving.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing setting.
• Support daily clinical operations on the unit to ensure quality care and safety.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely.
• Monitor residents and respond promptly to changes in status.
• Collaborate with CNA, LPN, providers and other team members to promote high-quality care.
• Communicate care needs effectively with residents and families.
• Document care to meet clinical, regulatory, and facility standards.
• Follow infection control, safety, and compliance protocols.
