Job summary

Westwood Specialty Care, an 85-bed long-term care skilled nursing community in Sioux City, IA, is hiring an RN for full-time night shifts (6pm–6am). Join our compassionate team to provide direct nursing care, monitor residents, administer medications, and support daily operations.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Iowa and CPR certification.
• Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations.
• Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing setting.
• Support daily clinical operations on the unit and ensure resident safety.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes promptly.
• Collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, providers, and the care team to ensure quality care.
• Communicate effectively with residents and families about care needs.
• Document care accurately to meet clinical and regulatory standards.
• Follow infection control, safety, and facility policies at all times.
