Job summary

Care Initiatives is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Ridgewood Specialty Care in Ottumwa, IA. This part-time night-shift role (6pm–6am) offers a supportive team and opportunity to deliver compassionate care in a skilled nursing setting.

Responsibilities include direct nursing care, medication administration, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Requires Iowa RN license, CPR, and commitment to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in good standing in Iowa.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations and laws.
• Empathy, respect, patience and discretion in caregiving.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment.
• Support daily clinical operations on the unit to ensure quality care and resident safety.
• Administer medications and treatments on time and accurately.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes in status.
• Collaborate with CNA, LPN, providers and the care team to promote teamwork.
