Job summary

Good Samaritan Society – Comforcare in Austin, MN is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to provide individualized resident care using the nursing process. You will collaborate with residents, families and the inter-disciplinary team to plan and evaluate care beyond routine tasks.

The role requires RN licensure in Minnesota, a BSN preferred, and your expertise will support safe, high-quality care during evening shifts with rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA).
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in Minnesota or multistate licensure if in an NLC state.
• Maintains required competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation).
• Coordinate care with residents, families and other inter-disciplinary colleagues.
• Serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks as needed; ensure safe care delivery.
