Job summary

Good Samaritan - Woodland in Brainerd, MN is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver individualized nursing care in a 42-bed long-term facility. The role follows the nursing process within a Christian, not-for-profit environment and ensures quality care for residents.

You will work the 2:00pm to 10:30pm shift, every other weekend, rotating holidays, with a bi-weekly 40-hour pay period basis and additional shift incentives. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in the state.
• Obtains and maintains required department competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation).
• Coordinate care with residents, families and inter-disciplinary teams.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to staff as appropriate.
