Job summary

Ideal candidates hold 1+ year of nursing experience, Florida RN licensure (or compact state eligibility), and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. This full-time role requires strong communication and documentation through the nursing process.

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma/Certificate in Nursing or an Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse license for the State of Florida or eligible compact state upon hire; BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required (PALS within 90 days).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, identifies, and prioritizes patient and family needs; communicates plan of care with the care team.
• Safely delivers medications and treatments; monitors responses and upholds safety policies.
• Performs continuous patient assessment and communicates changes to the care team for prompt decisions.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
• Works effectively within a unit to meet goals and continuous improvement.
• Maintains licensure, certifications, education, and competencies; pursues professional growth.
