Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Nursing Team at Baptist Medical Center South in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time night-shift position involves providing comprehensive patient care using the nursing process, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications include 1–2 years of Medical-Surgical experience, Florida RN licensure, BLS, and an ADN (BSN preferred).

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) is required.
• BSN is preferred.
• Current RN license to practice in Florida is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• 1–2 years of Medical-Surgical Nursing experience is preferred.
• Telemetry experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide for patient needs using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Organize and supervise care provided by supportive personnel.
• Coordinate care with ancillary services, involving patients and families in the care plan.
• Educate patients and families about their disease process and plan of care.
• Act as a patient advocate and provide care for medical/surgical conditions and minor injuries or illnesses.
