Job summary

Good Samaritan – Bethany in Brainerd, Minnesota is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for part-time evenings. You will provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process, collaborating with residents, families and an interdisciplinary team.

This role covers 2pm-10:30pm (16 hours/week) with every other weekend and holiday, plus weekend and night incentives. A nationally accredited nursing program graduate with RN licensure is required or in NLC state, with Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing or multi-state licensure if in an NLC state.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with resident, family and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care, resident assessment and education; delegate tasks as needed.
• Serve as charge nurse when assigned and supervise license/unlicensed staff.
• Adhere to Nurse Practice Act and ethics in practice.
