Job summary
Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join our perioperative/PACU care team on an evening schedule (5p to 11p, M-W-F) with call requirements. The nurse will provide safe, compassionate care, apply the nursing process, and collaborate with physicians and other care providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Candidates must be a graduate of an approved nursing program, hold an IL RN license, and have CPR/BLS; ACLS/PALS and CPAN/CAPA are preferred.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a state approved school of nursing; BSN preferred.
- IL RN License required.
- CPR/BLS issued by the American Heart Association.
- ACLS and PALS preferred; CPAN/CAPA preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, effective nursing care for patients on a specific unit.
- Apply the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating care.
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians and the care team to ensure best outcomes.
- Guide assigned unlicensed staff in delivering interdisciplinary care.
