Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston is seeking a Registered Nurse for part-time evenings (5p to 11p, M-W-F with call). The incumbent will provide safe, compassionate care on a designated unit, involving patients and families in the care plan and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include perioperative care for patients undergoing Electroconvulsive Therapy and peri-anesthesia care from ORs, with opportunities for professional growth through diverse benefits and a comprehensive compensation

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state-approved nursing program; BSN preferred.
• IL RN license active.
• 1 year experience in PACU/ICU/Behavioral Health preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification; ACLS and PALS preferred.
• CPAN/CAPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective nursing care on the assigned unit.
• Involve patients and families in the plan of care where appropriate.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and other health team members to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Guide and direct unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering care.
• Perioperative care of patients undergoing Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT).
• Phase 1 & 2 care of peri-anesthesia patients from ORs and supporting areas.
