Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking an experienced RN in the Operating Room for the Sonoran Crossing Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ. The role oversees patient care, staff development, and collaboration with physicians, with an evening shift (12:00 PM–8:30 PM) and a $20k sign-on bonus.

Requirements include BSN, AZ RN licensure, BLS, and 2 years OR nursing experience (3 years preferred). The job emphasizes leadership, quality care, and adherence to Magnet standards where applicable.

Qualifications

• RN operating room experience required.
• BSN from an accredited NLN/CCNE program required.
• AZ RN license and BLS certification required.
• 2 years RN experience required; 3 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, assesses, plans, coordinates, facilitates, and evaluates patient care and staff development.
• Manages unit staffing, onboarding, performance, coaching, and budget adherence.
• Provides direct patient care and collaborates with physicians to execute medical plan of care.
• Educates patients and families; promotes quality improvement and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Regularly rounds with physicians and staff to improve patient experience and outcomes.
