Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Milford, MA is looking for a registered nurse to deliver and manage direct patient care using the nursing process from admission through discharge, tailored to the developmental needs of the patient population.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, discharge planning, coordinating care, supervising team members, and delegating tasks to maintain high standards of safety and compassionate care on the evening shift.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS through AHA or ARC required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS required in select areas within 6 months.
• PALS required in select areas within 6 months.
• NRP Advanced Provider required in select areas within 6 months.
• BSN highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for delivery and management of patient care from Admission to Discharge.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment according to standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates individual plan of care including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care within the assigned clinical setting.
• Delegates appropriately to others in accordance with job description and competency level.
