Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is hiring an RN for Med/Surg/Ortho on the Milford campus. The role requires current MA nursing licensure, BLS, and ACLS/PALS as indicated, with NRP for certain areas.

You will provide direct patient care using the nursing process from admission through discharge, coordinating plans of care and discharge planning. The position is part-time, evening shift, on-site in Milford with a competitive hiring range and potential signing bonus.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS through AHA or ARC is required for every RN within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS required in select areas within 6 months or first scheduled course offering.
• PALS required in select areas within 6 months or first scheduled course offering.
• NRP Advanced Provider required in select areas within 6 months or first scheduled course offering.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for the delivery and management of patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment according to standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates individual plan of care including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care within the assigned clinical setting.
