Job summary

Grand Oaks Care Center in Tulare, CA is seeking a compassionate RN for full‑time evening shifts (2:30pm–11pm) to provide high-quality care to residents. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care while collaborating with physicians, therapists, and staff to ensure resident dignity and wellbeing.

The role offers opportunities to lead teams, develop care plans, and participate in care conferences within a supportive, team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in California (multi-state licenses welcomed).
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
• A compassionate heart and commitment to excellent resident care.

Responsibilities

• Provide and oversee quality resident care in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
• Develop and update individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Perform nursing assessments and document accurately and timely.
• Administer medications and treatments following proper procedures and protocols.
• Supervise CNAs and LVNs, ensuring compliance with care standards and safety regulations.
• Maintain infection control and follow safety protocols to uphold a clean and secure environment.
• Participate in care conferences and support residents’ physical and emotional well-being.
