Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living at Putnam Farms is hiring a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time evenings (3p-11p). The role pays $35–$39 per hour and includes a team-focused, home-like environment with generous benefits.

You will assess and document residents, supervise CNAs, coordinate care with providers, and respond to emergencies while prioritizing resident independence and safety.

Qualifications

• Current state license as an LPN and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved LPN program per state requirements.
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience working as a nurse preferred.
• Previous experience working with the elderly in a paid or volunteer position is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses, communicates, and documents residents’ status.
• Observes and reports any significant changes in resident behavior and health to the appropriate leaders.
• Directs and supervises the daily work assignments of the Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentors and guides the Lead Resident Care Assistants in their jobs and duties.
• Coordinates care needs with community providers via case management processes.
• Balances service demands with supporting resident independence.
• Recognizes and reports elder abuse or exploitation per state regulations.
• Responds to emergencies and uses the personal emergency response system as needed.
