Job summary

Banner Gateway Medical Center in Gilbert, Arizona is seeking a Lactation Consultant RN to round on patients in L&D, Postpartum, and NICU, delivering lactation education and individualized care plans. You will collaborate with physicians, staff, and families to support feeding goals and breastfeeding education.

This role requires current RN licensure with IBCLC/CBC/CLC/CBS certification, BLS, and NRP within six months. Three 8-hour evening shifts with night and weekend differentials are offered.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in state of practice.
• IBCLC/CLC/CBC/CBS certification required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• NRP certification must be obtained within six months.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and plan nursing care per standards and policies.
• Provide lactation education to patients and families.
• Develop feeding plans and coordinate with pediatricians and speech therapy.
• Deliver continuing education programs on lactation to staff.
• Document care and outcomes in the patient record.
