Job summary

White Oak Medical Center, part of Adventist HealthCare, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse II (RN) for the Transcare unit. The role offers a full-time evening schedule (3:00 pm - 11:00 pm) with a 40-hour work week and weekend rotation, emphasizing high standards of patient care and adherence to ANA guidelines.

Qualified candidates will have Maryland RN licensure, NCLEX pass, BLS (and ACLS/PALS/NRP as required), and at least 1 year of RN experience, with opportunities for professional growth

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Passing NCLEX
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience.
• Current Maryland State nursing license.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and family through the continuum of care while improving knowledge and skills with guidance from senior nurses and the Clinical Nurse Manager.
• Serve as role model to Level I nurses and use electronic resources to support best practices in patient care.
• Demonstrate professionalism and adhere to ANA standards while upholding Adventist HealthCare values.
• Use equipment and technology correctly and delegate non-nursing duties to maximize efficiency.
• Develop care plans according to patient population and respond to changes in patient condition.
