Job summary

Adventist HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at White Oak Medical Center in Silver Spring, MD. This full-time role offers day shifts and a pay range of $37.00–$55.00 per hour, reflecting experience and qualifications.

The RN will educate patients and families, support the nursing team, and ensure care is delivered in accordance with ANA standards of practice. A Maryland RN license and BLS are required, with ACLS/PALS/NRP as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience.
• Maryland RN license and BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP as required by specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families through the continuum of care.
• Serve as role models to Level I nurses.
• Demonstrate professionalism and adhere to ANA standards of practice.
• Develop a plan of care according to patient population.
• Mentor students, colleagues, and team members in patient-centered care.
• Conduct purposeful rounding from patient and family perspective.
• Demonstrate literature searches and apply findings to practice.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in clinical care.
