CHRISTUS Health is seeking a competent nurse to provide independent care in a similar clinical setting, handling routine and complex tasks with the ability to work toward long-range goals. You will delegate to other care providers as needed to manage clinical situations.

The role requires a BSN (preferred) and at least 1 year of related nursing experience, with BLS certification and RN license in the state of employment or a compact state. Work schedule is 2:30PM to 11PM on a full-time basis.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Meets ANA standards of practice and uses nursing process for patient care.
• Administers medications and treatments per protocol; monitors effectiveness and side-effects.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medications and care provided.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients and families.
