Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a qualified nurse for a full-time night shift (7PM–7AM) in Texas. The role requires independent practice with a focus on assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation within the nursing process, and delegation as needed to other care providers.

The candidate will provide routine and complex care, address patients' and families' psychosocial needs, document history and care, and ensure learning needs are met through patient education and resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
• BLS certification is required.
• RN license in state of employment or compact license.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine and complex nursing care, following the nursing process.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol; monitor effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Assess learning needs and educate patients and families.
