Job summary

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.

• BLS required; RN license in state of employment or compact.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Administers medications and treatments per protocol; monitors side-effects and effectiveness.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided.
• Addresses patient and family learning needs and provides education.
• Makes appropriate assignments and delegates tasks to other care providers as needed.
• Leads and collaborates with team to manage clinical situations.
