Job summary

Avamere Court at Keizer in Keizer, OR is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive patient care, assess residents, administer medications, monitor health, and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team.

You will supervise LPNs and CNAs, maintain documentation, participate in care planning and quality improvement, and ensure compliance with CPR/BLS and active RN licensure.

Qualifications

• Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current, active RN license in the state. BSN preferred.
• Active CPR/BLS certification required during employment.
• Prefer experience in long-term care, geriatric rehab, sub-acute or critical care.
• Experience with electronic medical records documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents and develop individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and monitor residents, documenting changes as needed.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to physicians promptly.
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs; provide orientation and training.
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in care coordination meetings.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and stay current with guidelines.
