Job summary

Southcoast Health System in Fall River, MA, is seeking an experienced RN for the Emergency Department. This role is vital in a supportive and dynamic environment, focused on serving approximately 60,000 patients per year at Charlton Memorial Hospital.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, hold RN licensure in Massachusetts, and have BLS certification. Responsibilities include coordinating patient care, educating families, and leading a cohesive nursing team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• Three (3) months experience is preferred.
• ACLS, PALS and NIHSS required prior to orientation completion.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and COVID-19.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients under the direction of the manager.
• Participate in patient and family teaching.
• Provide leadership by cooperating with the nursing team.
