Job summary

Southcoast Health’s Charlton Memorial Hospital Emergency Department in Fall River, MA is seeking an EXPERIENCED RN for the Evening/Night shift in a busy 35-bed ED serving about 60,000 patients per year.

Join a fast-paced, supportive team focused on compassionate, inclusive care across the lifespan. Requirements include MA RN license, BLS, ACLS/PALS/NIHSS prior to orientation, and vaccination or approved exemption; compensation based on experience with strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.

Responsibilities

• Under direction of the Manager, Patient Services, coordinate total nursing care for patients.
• Participate in patient and family teaching and provide leadership by working cooperatively with the patient care team.
• Must be able to provide care appropriate to the age group of patients served.

We are searching for an EXPERIENCED RN for the Emergency Dept.

Hours: 36hrs

Shift: Evening/Night, 3:00pm - 3:00am with weekend and holiday rotation

Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 20 hours.

Under direction of the Manager, Patient Services or designee of individual assigned unit, perform a variety of duties involving coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit. Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• RN Experience is preferred.
• ACLS, PALS and NIHSS required prior to the completion of orientation
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
