Job summary

Southcoast Health’s Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA invites an experienced RN to join the Emergency Department. This 36-hour/week evening/night role offers a fast-paced, supportive environment in a 35-bed ED serving about 60,000 patients yearly.

Expect a $5,000 new-hire sign-on and a shift pattern with weekend/holiday rotation. Must have MA RN licensure, BLS, ACLS/PALS, NIHSS, MOAB, and full vaccination or approved exemption.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent.
• Current RN Licensure in Massachusetts.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, MOAB required prior to orientation.
• Vaccination against influenza and COVID-19 or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients and participate in patient and family teaching.
• Provide leadership by working with the nursing and patient care team.
• Maintain standards for professional nursing practice appropriate to patient age group.

We are searching for an EXPERIENCED RN for the Emergency Department

• $5,000 New Hire Sign On with 2+ years of RN Emergency Department experience. Rehires Termed greater than 1 year are eligible*

Hours: 36hrs

Shift: Evening/Night, 7:15pm - 7:15am with weekend and holiday rotation

Responsibilities

Under direction of the Manager, Patient Services or designee of individual assigned unit, perform a variety of duties involving coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit. Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• Experience is preferred.
• ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, MOAB required prior to completion of orientation
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay Range

USD $42.37 - USD $77.81 /Hr.
