Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking an RN to provide direct patient care in the 6 East Union area. You will apply the nursing process from admission through discharge, tailoring plans to the developmental age groups served.

The role requires Massachusetts licensure and BLS; ACLS too if applicable, with BSN preferred for career advancement. This is an on-site clinical nursing position focusing on compassionate care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is a requirement for every RN unless ACLS is current, in addition to unit specific certifications and competencies.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process for delivery and management of patient care from admission to discharge.
• Perform patient assessment and reassessment per standard procedures.
• Develop and coordinate individual care plans including discharge planning.
• Direct, supervise and evaluate nursing care within the assigned clinical setting.
• Delegate tasks appropriately within licensure and competency guidelines.
