Job summary

UMass Memorial Health's Co-Occurring Disorders Unit (CDU) at Harrington Webster Campus seeks a Registered Nurse for on-site, 32 hours per week with the Evening shift (2:45 PM–11:15 PM). The role emphasizes direct patient care, nursing process application, and collaboration with the health team.

The ideal candidate holds Massachusetts RN licensure, completion of an accredited nursing program, and BLS; ACLS is preferred if current.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts licensure and registration.
• Completion of an accredited school of nursing program.
• BLS is a requirement for every RN unless ACLS certification is current.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and manage direct patient care per nursing process.
• Utilize nursing assessment and develop a care plan from admission to discharge.
• Coordinate discharge planning and collaborate with the care team.
• Document care per standard procedures and participate in quality improvement.
• Administer medications, therapies and operate equipment per policy.
• Support education for patient and family and participate in governance activities.
