Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA, is seeking a Registered Nurse for South 2 Memorial Campus on the Evening shift (24 hours per week). This part-time role focuses on delivering direct patient care using the nursing process in a busy hospital setting.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, discharge planning, and coordinating with the care team. Massachusetts RN licensure and BLS/ACLS as required; BSN preferred. This is an on-site position with potential signing bonus.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is a requirement for every RN unless ACLS certification is current.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for the delivery and management of patient care from admission to discharge, appropriate to the developmental age of the patient population.
• Performs patient assessment/reassessment according to standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates individual plan of care including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care within the assigned clinical setting.
• Delegates appropriately to others in accordance with job description and competency level.
