Job summary

Deer Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or LVN for a full-time evening shift (2-10pm). The role focuses on supervising nursing staff, ensuring compliance with facility policies, and coordinating resident care plans within a long-term care setting.

The position requires adherence to current rules and regulations, active nursing licensure, and the ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to maintain high standards of resident care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing Services in directing the day-to-day functions of the nursing activities in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.
• Participate in developing, maintaining, and updating written policies and procedures that govern the day-to-day functions of the nursing service department.
• Ensure that reference material (i.e., PDR’S, regulations, professional standards of practice, etc.) maintained at the nurses’ stations is current.
• Review and interpret the department’s policies and procedures to personnel, residents, visitors, and government agencies as required.
