Job summary

Deer Meadows Rehabilitation Center (DMRC) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania seeks an RN Registered Nurse Supervisor for the Evening Shift to lead our nursing team and ensure high-quality resident care. This role includes supervision of RNs, CNAs, and other staff, with some on-call rotation, in a collaborative, fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate brings Pennsylvania RN licensure, experience in long-term care or rehabilitation, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
• Experience in long‑term care or rehabilitation nursing.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Solid clinical knowledge of nursing principles and practices.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of RNs, CNAs, and other staff on the evening shift.
• Develop and implement care plans delivering individualized resident care.
• Conduct rounds to monitor care, identify improvements, and address concerns.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to resolve issues and optimize outcomes.
• Mentor and coach nursing staff, promoting development and excellence.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance care and satisfaction.
• Foster a positive, respectful work environment with open communication.
