Job summary

Qualified candidates hold an associate degree in nursing, Alabama RN licensure, and BLS. ACLS is required within six months, and PALS may be needed depending on the unit.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required with 18 months related experience.
• RN license in Alabama required or eligible.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS certification required within six months from date of hire.
• PALS certification may be required within six months depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Direct nursing service activities in the assigned care unit for one shift.
• Provide professional nursing care for patients in the assigned care unit.
• Support nursing leadership in coordination of patient care, personnel management, and physician/interdisciplinary collaboration.
