Job summary

UAB Medicine's UAB St. Vincent's East in Birmingham, AL seeks an experienced registered nurse for the 5 East Oncology unit.

This full-time night shift (7pm-7am) offers a comprehensive benefits package with up to $20,000 bonus for eligible full-time hires and the opportunity to care for patients with cancer and related conditions in a 22-bed unit. Provide direct nursing care, coordinate multidisciplinary care, follow policies, and assist with discharge planning.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Alabama required (or eligibility)
• BLS Provider (American Heart Association/American Red Cross) required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per policies and protocols.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care for well-coordinated patient care.
• Follow physician and nursing orders and monitor patient condition.
• Assist with discharge planning needs with care team
