Job summary

MultiCare Health System in Olympia, WA is hiring a Staff Registered Nurse (RN) to join a hospital-based team. This role features an evening shift with 12-hour blocks and a 0.9 FTE schedule, ideal for dedicated nurses committed to patient-centered care.

The RN will organize and deliver nursing care using the nursing process, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes and experience while supporting cost-effective care. WA licensure is required and BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS).
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current BLS Certification.
• ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP certification, as required by facility or department.
• Certification in specialty area preferred.
• One year of experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
• Utilize the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction.
• Foster a learning environment for patients/families and staff.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting autonomy, dignity and health of diverse patients.
