Job summary

Midas Hospitality is seeking a friendly Restaurant Server to join our Hotel Food & Beverage team. This PM role focuses on welcoming guests, explaining menus, taking orders, and delivering meals with accuracy and hospitality.

You will use the POS system, monitor guest satisfaction, and upsell when appropriate. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is a plus. Training and growth opportunities accompany a supportive hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Restaurant, food service, or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of service standards, POS systems, and cash handling.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting.
• Attention to detail and commitment to service excellence.
• Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to shifts.
• Alcohol service or food handler certification preferred where required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and create a welcoming dining experience.
• Present menus, explain offerings, and answer questions about ingredients.
• Take accurate orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Deliver orders promptly with accuracy and presentation.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to requests.
• Assist with upselling to support restaurant revenue goals.
• Handle guest checks, payments, and receipts.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables and dining areas.
• Complete opening, closing, and side-work duties.
• Follow all food safety and alcohol service regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen, bartenders, hosts, and other staff.
• Stay informed about specials and hotel offerings.
• Support banquets or events as needed.
